bad tattoos
If you get a tattoo you want to make sure you don't make a bad choice. No matter how good it may seem at the time, think hard about the following factors that make up a real bad tattoo choice.
1. India ink homemade tattoos. These are common with youth, and you will often see grown adults with old and dull green unrecognizable "smears" on their body. Sometimes it looks like it might be a skin condition, but in reality it's a homemade India ink tattoo put on by a beginner several years ago, usually during their youth. I've seen home made tattoos that used to say a name and now it's totally unrecognizable. These are generally bad choices, and it's best to save up some money and get a killer tattoo done by a pro.
2. Tribal tattoos or trendy tattoos. If you are truly into tribal then by all means go for it, but if you are just jumping on the bandwagon then forget it. Many tribal tattoo wearers jumped on the bandwagon years ago and got a big tribal tattoo because it was trendy to do. Now they are unoriginal and many are regretful that they got a design which practically everyone and their brother now has. This also goes for other trendy tattoo's such as the low center girl back tattoo that has become so overdone, a slang term "tramp stamp" has developed referring to such tattoos.
3. Face/neck tattoos. Many tattoo artists won't even do face tattoos as they can have a horrible impact on a individual down the road. I remember reading that a high suicide rate went along with face tattoo wearers. The neck for some people can be an ideal place for a tattoo, but for others it may seem good at the time, but due to the problem of not being able to cover it up all the time there can be heavy regret down the road. Some individuals have resorted to wearing band aids at their place of work to cover up a neck tattoo they got several years ago. Also, the neck tattoo seems to be becoming somewhat of a trend now days, placing it into the bad choice trendy tattoo category.
